What I Do
I use spell write for spelling and it helps me a lot. Because I have a lot of choices. For example Today i chose to write a silly piece of writing to test my spelling words.
Here It Is
Choosing the most efficient strategy is really good for my organisation. But now i have to hack Rhannas integers while she does an assessment. I'm really famous but Rhannas not because all she does is hope for fame in the audience.

Passion Project

Introduction 

In Kahikatea we are doing a passion project. A passion project is when you think about something you love or hate, for a example just say you chose 

Love: Horse Riding   Hate: Poverty

Now you chose which one you're gonna learn and make a difference. Well Georgia.W and I chose poverty.

What We Did

Georgia.W and I decided to make cupcakes for our class(you might do already known). This money went to tearfund and we raised $78.

Tearfund?

Tearfund is an organisation/company.They give money to poverty. Poverty is when you don't have money, food or a home so you, would be poor

Swimsuits and pools, memories and laughs,
this is so cool,I don't need a scarf,
this is just the first half, now I can unleash my summer path.

Girls Tech Compotion

The Girls Tech Compotion
This compotion is all about making an app that will help everyday problems in a international compotion  that is ONLY for girls

Everybody who decides they want to join the compotion has to make a group of 2-5 girls
Georgia,Rhanna and I have decided to join the compotion and make an app that will help and cure anxiety.

The age group for the compotion is 7-17 and in 
our app the age group is around 14-28



Anxiety is about feeling worry and nervousness

Life As Coffin

How great, there just has to be a dead person put inside of me. Why does there have to be so much MURDER and DEATH.

As I lower into the ground I hear all the cries and sniffs of sadness, it takes some time but eventually I do hit the ground.

It's happening i think i'm drowning in dirt it's covering me like a huge dirt mountain just fell on me.

Oh no i… i can’t breath…….. Oh wait hahaha i don't need to breath because i'm not living. But wait how am i talking to myself right now?

Tu Kaha And What It Means To Me

So on Thursday the 2nd of March there was a Whakangahau (Assembly) representing the Yr 6s, of course I was one but it was one of my best moments in my life because I've never felt so proud of myself. I felt like got handed great leadership even though I know that anyone can be a leader. Tu Kaha(Stand Tall) was written on the badge and Tu Kaha mean a lot to me because it doesn't just mean that you're a leader it means that you are someone that can be trusted, helpful and caring those are the 3 words I would use to describe what Tu Kaha means. Oh yeh and Tu Kaha also means to respect others feelings.

Proving My Basic Facts Goal!!!!!!!

 Today(17th Feb) I proved my basic facts goal. My goal was Pairs to a 1000 here's an example 654+ ? =1000 the answer  is 346.
I'm really proud of my self because found it pretty difficult, but after a couple of days it was much easier than I thought, so I decided to prove it here's a worksheet to show you!

Who Would You Choose?

If I could invite anyone in the world to my house for dinner, it would Leona Lewis and Ed Sheeran. All my life I've been interested in singing. I know that these two artists are very great at singing.

When I was about five the only song I listened to was a moment like this by Leona Lewis, and now that I'm older two of my favourite songs are castle on the hill and shape of you, both by Ed Sheeran.

I would talk about how they got such great voices and how they got into singing, how they got discovered and how long they've been singing for.

I would DIE to have Leona Lewis and Ed Sheeran at my house for dinner. IT WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE.

The Best Thing About School This Year

Making new friends, sometimes it can be hard,  sometimes it can be easy. It's great either way because you can meet, anyone. And you never know,they may become your best friend or really helpful in the future.


Do you know why friends can be so helpful?
It's because they will always be there for you no matter what. And that's what true friends are.




Once I tried to make a friends with someone but it just didn't go well. We hated each other, and we NEVER played with each other. Now the years have past, and we are great friends, and she's there for me no matter what.




It's been great meeting new friends through the year, and that's why it the best thing, about school this year.😜

Purpose:Report


Goal:I can plan for my writing using the appropriate graphic organizers  and use it to structure my text.

What They Eat:
The most common food elephants  eat are grasses, small plants, bushes, fruit, twigs, tree bark, and roots.
These foods keep elephants healthy, Onions, Sweet corn, Pineapples,Avocado, Asparagus, Sweet peas,Mangoes, Eggplant, Cantaloupe, Kiwi, Cabbage, Watermelon,Sweet potatoes ,Grapefruit and Mushrooms.


Habitat:Elephants live in Sub-Saharan Africa.Sub-Saharan Africa is, geographically, the area of the continent of Africa, that lies south of the Sahara desert.





Weight and Height:
An Asian Elephant can grow 2.7 m tall, and they weigh 2,700kg.African bush elephants can grow 2.5 to 4 m tall and weigh, 6,000kg.

Learning Algebra!

ALGEBRA. In Hub 10.11 we are learning about, well you can probably guess it's ALGEBRA. Algebra has heaps of different things to it we've been learning patterns in algebra. For example we had to figure out why ten is a triangular number and we had to find way more other triangular numbers this is what I found. 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36,45, 55, 66, 78, 91,105. I am really proud of myself because I was in a huge pit but I found my way out.

My Carnival Art

As you know the Carnival is coming up this  on Sunday and you also know everybody has to make a craft. Every student in Hub 10.11 gets to make their own Carnival Craft that's different from everybody else's. I made a paper mache rainbow for my brother because he is going to visit us from South Africa on the day before the Carnival.I am really proud about my carnival art because I put a lot of time and effort into my carnival art so it can be successful.

Proving My Knowledge Goal

On Thursday I proved my Knowledge Goal.
The Knowledge Goal was called decimal,fraction,percentage conversion.
Here's a exalmple

1/2 =0.5=50%
This is how you do it as you can see the fraction 1/2 has to change into a percentage and a decimal.
So 1/2 in a decimal would be 0.5 and the percentage version would be 50%

I am really proud of myself about proving this goal because I worked very hard on it.

Nobody Knows

There I was, standing there, in the middle of nothingness ,nobody was around, but not for me. My heart was thumping, my feet are numb. In the distance all I could see was a black figure staring at me with glowing eyes, he came closer I sprinted with all might back home and he was never to be seen again.
