Sky, Stars and Nature

Watching the twinkly night sky,
Watching the glowing stars.
Caring for animals,
Caring for nature,

Helping nature,
Do things right.
I like being kind and doing things right.

The Wishing Star

The Wishing Star
Wishing on a star so beautiful
and shiny. Wishing for spaghetti to keep me company. I like spaghetti it is yummy isn’t it       Until…
it started raining spaghetti “ YAY” goes the town.   “Crystal, Hymani, Hazel dinner time. We are going to have sausages, ice cream and bananas this week and next week we are going to have lollipops, whip cream and chicken,” I said.  “OH NO THERE'S A FLOOD! A SPAGHETTI FLOOD!!!” the town cried. I quickly wished for all of this to go back to normal but it wouldn’t. “What are you doing”? cried Mum and Dad. “I’m tring to wish on a star for all of this to go away”. “But darling you can’t,” Mum sadly answered. “Yes you can, I’ll show you”. I wished again and it worked.
Two days later
everything was under my hands because I am magical.

All About Me

I love school because I have lots of friends
I also like art. When its swimming time and its hot I can’t wait to splish and splash. but I don’t like boring swimming lessons.

I've only got one pet his name is Rigby he is a chihuahua he is tiny. We got him when he was 6 weeks old. He’s so cute.

One of my hobbies is skipping because i’m really good and fast. YAY!

Math is easy and helps me learn really easy.

This Is All About Me

please comment
Anzac Poppy
Fragile red
like blooms of rubies ,
petals dripping with blood, clear air,
blowing on a delicate jewel,
like the last glowing star.

longest place name in NZ

Longest Place Name In New Zealand

Room 9 has been talking about the longest place name in NZ. We found out the place is in Hawkes Bay. I would like to show you the info I found.

1. 'Taumata whakatangi hangakoauau o tamatea turi pukakapiki maunga horo nuku pokai whenua kitanatahu' is the longest place name in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records and a famous photo destination for visitors to Hawke's Bay.

2. Tamatea was a famous chief and warrior. One day, while travelling through the back of Porangahau, he encountered another tribe and had to fight them to get past. During the fight his brother was killed. Tamatea was so grieved over the loss of his brother that he stayed at the battle site for some days. Each morning he would sit on the hill and play a lament on what is called the koauau or Maori flute.

Look at the picture theres 85 letters in the name

I'ts sooooo long
